Book for teachers and students of teaching written by Mette Jørgensen and me on how to analyze comics and how to use the making of comics to analyze canonical texts in the Danish lessons.
Also has suggestions on how to use comics in other language classes with examples of comics in English, the Scandinavian languages, German and French.
The book uses Marjane Satrapi's Persepolis and Art Spiegelman's Maus as main examples for analysis but also introduces to other comics. Emphasis is on the student's own active involvement with comics, both in analyzing them and making them.
